Contemporary abstract artist developing visual systems through color, form, and constraint.

Artist Statement

I create artworks as evolving systems. Each body of work begins with a defined color, theme, or both, and develops through structured experimentation across different formats and scales.

My practice explores how simple rules can generate complex visual languages. Within these frameworks, variation emerges through repetition, limitation, and controlled change. Each collection becomes an interconnected system rather than a single finished image.

Foundational Series

The Color Exploration series is a foundational study for developing my working method.

It is based on a CMY-inspired palette and built on simple, repeatable visual elements: blue linear marks, magenta circular forms, and yellow splashes. Each composition is created on A3 watercolor paper prepared with acrylic ground, using stamping techniques.

Works are limited to two colors at a time, allowing focus on how form, contrast, and balance behave under constraint.

The structure of each piece is informed by proportional principles inspired by Le Corbusier’s Modulor, introducing an underlying sense of rhythm and spatial order.

This series functions as a testing ground for how a strict set of rules can produce variation, and how a visual system can begin to evolve into a repeatable method for future collections.

Selected works are available via Artmajeur and Saatchi Art.

My Process

My process begins with a single decision: a color, a theme, or both. From there, I build each collection as a system designed to evolve over time.

I explore color through repetition and variation, starting with open, intuitive studies and gradually moving toward more structured compositions. Some results remain immediate and raw, while others are refined and developed further.

Working studies exploring color and form relationships

As the process unfolds, ideas move between different formats and scales — from quick studies to more resolved works, and from intimate surfaces to larger, more open compositions. Each stage informs the next.

Over time, each collection becomes a connected system with its own internal logic — a visual language that can expand rather than conclude.

Follow The Process

This is an early-stage project — the first phase of an evolving visual system.

I am building it in public from the beginning, sharing each stage as it develops: experiments, working studies, and emerging works within each collection.

For collectors and followers, this is a way to observe the development of new series as they form — before they become fully defined bodies of work.

If you are interested in how an abstract visual language is built step by step, from simple rules into complete collections, you are invited to follow along and receive updates as new work is released.
